Joi brings a powerful blend of academic rigor and real-world experience. Her tenure as Executive Director of Equity for Louisville Metro Government, alongside roles at KentuckianaWorks, Spalding University, and JCPS, demonstrates her dedication to impactful change.
Beyond her professional achievements, Joi embodies servant-leadership, serving on the boards of HHN2L, Maryhurst Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters Kentuckiana, and Initiatives of Change – United Kingdom.
Her commitment to community is further evidenced by her active volunteerism in voter registration drives, neighborhood clean-up projects and meal deliveries through Meals on Wheels.
Joi McAtee is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and her greatest source of inspiration is her daughter, Elizabeth, a constant reminder of the future she strives to build.
